Hi, we’re Kushal and Anusha.
We’re a Bangalore-based couple who have known each other for nearly five years and been married for over three. Kushal completed his education at IIT Madras and IIM Bangalore and works in a full-time corporate role. Anusha is a Chartered Accountant working as a consultant. Like many of our readers, we juggle demanding careers, busy schedules, and limited vacation days – and we understand exactly what it means to make every leave day count.
While our journey together may have begun recently, our love for travel started long before we met. Even as individuals, we were always drawn to exploring new places, wandering through unfamiliar streets, discovering hidden gems, and experiencing different cultures. To each of us, travel was never just about ticking destinations off a list – it was about collecting stories, perspectives, and memories that stay with you long after the trip ends.
When we started travelling together, we quickly realised that sharing these experiences made them even more meaningful. Whether it’s a spontaneous weekend getaway, a carefully planned international trip, a scenic road trip, or simply finding a charming café tucked away in a new city – every journey adds a new chapter to our story.
We live by a simple philosophy:
“You have only one life, so make the most of it.”
For us, that means making time for experiences, embracing curiosity, and saying yes to adventures whenever we can.
Why Roamantic Affair
As our list of trips grew longer and our photo galleries grew fuller, we wanted a place to document these experiences – not just for ourselves, but for fellow travellers planning similar journeys. We know firsthand how much time goes into researching destinations, building itineraries, finding the right stays, and figuring out the little details that can make or break a trip.
Roamantic Affair was born from that idea.
Through this blog, we share honest travel experiences, practical itineraries, destination guides, stay reviews, food recommendations, and lessons learned along the way. Our goal is simple: to make travel planning a little easier and a lot more enjoyable for people just like us – working professionals who love to travel but need to be smart about their time.

Why We Write
Travel may be our favourite escape from the daily grind, but writing about it lets us relive those moments all over again. Every post takes us back through photographs, conversations, and memories that might otherwise fade with time. In a way, writing this blog lets every vacation last just a little bit longer.
